To read DDEC V codes, use the Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL). The DDDL will display active and inactive fault codes which are listed in Table "Flash Codes, SAE Codes, Descriptions" .‪

Note: Some vehicle dashboard displays will show SAE faults.

  • Yellow= Sensor
  • Red= Protection
  • Blue = Logic
  • Green = MAS (Maintenance Alert System)
