High Altitude Operation

To determine if high altitude operation is causing lack of power:‪

  1. Examine the altitude performance curve, see Figure "Altitude Performance Curve" .
  2. Based on the altitude curve data, , decide if high altitude is causing the lack of power.
    1. If your vehicle is operating above sea level, a loss of power will be encountered, no further troubleshooting is required.
    2. If your vehicle is operating at or below sea level and there is a lack of power, refer to "12.11 Incorrect Camshaft Timing" .
