Intake Manifold Pressure/Temperature Sensor

The Intake Manifold Pressure / Temperature Sensor is located in the top rear cover of the intake manifold. It is accessed through a wiring harness cover.‪

Section 2.8.1
Intake Manifold Pressure/Temperature Sensor Removal

Remove the Intake Manifold Pressure/Temperature Sensor as follows:‪

To avoid injury before starting and running the engine, ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, parking brake is set, and the wheels are blocked.‪

  1. Apply the parking brakes, shut down the engine, and chock the tires. Raise the hood. See Figure "Sensor Removal" .

  2. Remove the wiring harness cover from the intake manifold.
  3. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness.
  4. Remove the fasteners that attach the pressure/temperature sensor, then remove the sensor.

Section 2.8.2
Intake Manifold Pressure/Temperature Sensor Installation

Install the Intake Manifold Pressure/Temperature Sensor as follows:‪

  1. Install the pressure/temperature sensor. Tighten the fasteners 108 kg·cm (96 lb·in).
  2. Connect the electrical connector and install the wiring harness cover on the manifold.
  3. Remove the chocks from the tires.
