Description of SID 243 — Cruise Control Set and Resume Switch Fault
SID 243 indicates that a fault has occurred in the cruise control SET and RESUME switches. See Figure "Cruise Control Circuit" for the typical cruise control circuit.

The diagnostic condition is typically:
- SET and RES Contacts Closed at the Same Time (243 12).
