Indicates a major engine fault that may result in engine damage Engine derate and / or shutdown sequence will be initiated. |
Move the truck to the nearest safe location and shutdown the engine. Call for service |

DPF Regeneration Lamp |
Solid yellow indicates a manual regeneration is required. Blinking yellow and derate or shutdown are possible if back pressure exceeds limits. Blinking yellow during stationary regeneration |
Truck may be driven to end of shift. Call for service. Blinking light indicates attention required now. |

High Exhaust System Temperature Lamp (HEST) |
Lamp may be red or yellow. Indicates exhaust temperature is above a preset limit. Illuminates during regeneration process if speed below 30 mph and during stationary regeneration |
Truck may be driven. If lamp remains illuminated for an extended period – longer than 40 minutes call for service. |
