Series 50 – Section 15.6 Ignition Wire and Waste Wire Routing

Section 15.6
Ignition Wire and Waste Wire Routing

There are two routing patterns for the ignition wire and waste wire harness depending on the installation. Each routing has different coil bracket, ignition wire harness, ignition wire bracket, and ignition boot retainer. One routing has the coil packs vertical and the ignition wires extend over the left side of the engine. The waste wire terminal mounts the cylinder head and points upward with this routing. The other has the coil packs tipped to the right and the ignition wire extends over the right side of the engine. The waste wire terminal mounts the cylinder head pointing downward 45 from the horizontal. See Figure "Ignition Wire and Waste Wire Routing" .‪
