Description of Flash Code 89, PID 111/FMI 12 & PID 95/FMI 0
The SAE J1587 equivalent code for Flash Code 89 is p 111/12, ACLS/AECL Sensor fault.
Technically, code p 111/12 should not occur. It is logged if the ECM/ECU reports the ACLS/AECL Sensor immersed in coolant with the second (lower level) sensor out of coolant.
The SAE J1587 equivalent code for Flash Code 89 is also p 95/0, fuel inlet restriction high.
Flash Code 89 p 95/0 indicates the fuel inlet restriction has exceeded recommended limits.
