Troubleshooting Flash Code 89, PID 111/12

Troubleshoot Flash Code 89 p 111/1 for an ACLS/AECL Sensor fault using the following procedures.‪

Section 78.2.1
ACLS/AECL Sensor Check

The following procedure will troubleshoot the ACLS/AECL Sensor:‪

1. Remove the ACLS/AECL Sensor and clean (or replace) the probe. See Figure "Add Engine Coolant Level Sensor"
2. If the code cannot be cleared, inspect all the grounds associated with the ACLS/AECL Sensor.
3. Ensure the alternator in the unit has a good clean ground path to the battery.
