Description of Flash Code 13
The SAE J1587 equivalent codes for Flash Code 13 is p 111/4, coolant level circuit low, p111/6, AECL Sensor failed low or p146/6, EGR Valve current is high.
Flash Code 13 indicates that the Engine Coolant Level Sensor (CLS/ECL Sensor) or Add Engine Coolant Level Sensor (ACLS/AECL Sensor) input to the ECU has dropped below 5% (normally < 0.25 volts) of the sensor supply voltage. Also this code indicates that the ECM/ECU has detected too high a current level for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve.
