Description of Flash Code 22
The SAE J1587 equivalent code for Flash Code 22 is p 91/4, TPS/AP Sensor circuit low.
Flash Code 22 indicates that the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)/Accelerator Pedal Sensor (AP Sensor), see Figure "Throttle Position Sensor/Accelerator Pedal Sensor" , input to the ECM/ECU has dropped below 5% (normally < 0.25 volts) of the sensor supply voltage.
